From 16.04 to 23.04 students from Tirano visit les Borges Blanques as a second part of the International work meeting started in Tirano.

Presentation of the blog

This is the blog who Catalan students make during the exchange with the Italian students. This meeting was in Tirano and last from Thursday 4th of February to Thursday 11th of February, one week. In this week the students were learning English, had funny, saw places and learn costumes and traditions on Italy.

All the days the Italian students prepared a good program for the Catalan students, and the Catalan students had funny this week. Ones more and others less, but there was a good week for all the students.

Thursday 4.02.10 (DEPARTURE FROM LES BORGES BLANQUES)

This was the first day of exchange. At one o'clock the catalan students catched the bus in front of Ies Josep Valllverdú, the catalan institute of les Borges Blanques, Les Garrigues.

We went to the airport of Saragossa, where we catched a fly with the company Ryanair to italian airport of Bergamo (the fly wasn't bored, but I wanted to saw the Alps and it was dark), and then we catched a bus and we did a bit of travel to Tirano. Before we arrived we stopped to dinner a pizza in a restaurant.

The travel with bus was a bit long, two hours and a half, but finally, we arribed to Tirano.

There was happy students and very happy students. I remember when I saw my partner, Gino, I think we are going to have a good exchange, and it was real.

His father comes to the institute, and with the car bring Gino and me to our house. I haved a good bienvenue but I was tired and I went to sleep.

We  went to Saragossa to the airport and we catched the plane. In the plain we stayed two hours and a half (we ate, we played PSP, we slept.... ).When we arrived in Bergamo we went to ate a pizza. We arrived in Tirano, where we found the italian studen, Erea, Maria and me was the lasts. When Domenico arrived we went to his home.

Friday 05.02.10 (VISIT TO TIRANO)

On Friday we had lunch at the school, we ate pizzas.

Everyone ate so fast because we were hungry.

The pizzas were excelent and everyone liked a lot.

The lunch it was fantastic and we laughed a lot.

After the lunch, the boys played pim-pom and the girls were on a table talking about their things.

On Friday we went to Tirano, and we saw all monument and some important places, the church, etc. When I finished the visit of Tirano we return at the school and we had lunch. Obviously pizza.

After the lunch we play ping-pong and minifootball in the area giovani. Later we went to vist the santuari of Tirano, very big, but i didn't like it because there had a lot of ornaments.

Then, we went home and had dinner. After dinner we go out to play with the snow.

We met at the high school at eight o'clock on Friday morning. Firstly we went all the students to the auditorium and we were welcome by the headmaster. After we started the visit in Tirano. First we went to the centre of the town: Viale Italia, la statzione, Monumento ai Caduti, Palazzo Quadrio, Porta Poschiavina, Palazzo Salis, Porta Bormina, Porta Milanese...

It was a tired and cold morning.

Friday was the first day that we spent togheter. We were very exited to met our new italian friends. We explained to our classmates how it was the first night in the italian house and we were a little surprised for theis meals, their types of lives...

We enjoyed a lot the walk arround Tirano as it was the first town.

We had lunch at school, a very delicious pizza and finish it we went to visit Madonna Di Tirana, a very nice place in my opinion.

Friday afternoon we went to see a shrine of the Madonna, the walls it was very well worked and finished with determination. There was also a very large organ, and where the virgin appeared hearts was surrounded by people he had met the miracles when he was asked accompanied with many photos there were many candles lit, was very pretty, at the end the path each took his item exchange.

On friday night the the catalan and italian students we went to a pub in tirano. We met at the bus stop at 8:30 and we go to the pub. Here everyone had a good time. We drank a litlle bit and dance all the time.

We though the bus came back home at 10:20 but it was wrong! The bus came back at home at 10:10 and we loose the bus and the italians had to phone her parents.

On Friday 5 of February we meeting in the auditorium.

Later we visitted some monuments of the city of Tirano: Viale Italia, la Stazione, la Piazza Marinoni, Monumento ai caduti, Monumento algli emigranti, Palazzo Quadrio, Piazza Parravicini, Porta Poshiavina, Collegiata di San Martino, Palazzo Marinoni, Palazzo Merizzi, Palazzo Salis, Palazzo Visconti Venosta, le case patrizie, Porta Bormina, vista dei vigneti, Palazzo Torelli, Torre Torelli, Castello del Dosso and Porta Milanese.

Later we went to school for had lunch.

Then we visitted the sanctuary of Madonna di Tirano.

And finally we went home.

On Friday afternoon when we finished the high school, Marta, me and our partners we went shopping in Tirano on the shopping centre.When we finished we went to a caffe and we stay with the friends of our partners. We loughed a lot and it was so funny.

At eight o'clock we go to the school and the teachers of tirano have a presentation of her region, and bring information of the zone to the catalan students. A continuation we have breakfast in a shop of pastisserie. Then all the students, catalans and italians, visit Tirano. The italian teacher tell to the students, in tirano there are four portalades, we visit 2. Then also we go

"to the mountains" up, and we have a good saw of the city, and we saw the monument of the immigrant. Per cert, Tirano, has aproximately, 10000 habitants.

The we went to the institue and we ate pizza, and the we played to the futbolin and ping-pong, but the raquests were ato the apurades.

We also visited the church, Tirano had many churches, but we visit the bigger and the beautifulest.

The afternoon was free with the families

Saturday 06.02.10 (VISIT TO SONDRIO)

Saturday night was a special night as we did a very exiting dinner togheter. Firstable, we met, all the Comenius students, in the Red Fox restaurant for eat some typical italian food for dinner. It was so beautiful to stay all the italians and calatalans togheter.
This night Catalans students(sergi, didac, patricia, erea, ari, marta, andrea, judith and I) plaied the "avioneta" with the food in a restaurant.

As we weren't tired and enjoyed the time, we went in Lagetto, which is a pub near the restaurant, full of young people who love dancing, meeting new people... We enjoyed the stay in there as we met some italian people.
All the night can be add up by some hours to stay with our italian friends, talk with them and pass a very nice time whit them. We can dance all the time because the party doesn't stop and the people was very funny!
All go to home at diferents hours but everyone enjoyed his time.

It was a very good night!!

Saturday is my best day in Tirano because we went to a " avioneta" pub for had dinner.
Later we went to disco by foot with hight-heeled shoes! We were both wrong shoes!
We danced very much! It was a very special day!
We met some italian persons! In Italia the people is very outgoing!!
I had sleept with Michella's house (the partner of Mariona) but finally was not possible!
At two o'clock Giulia and I we went home because tomorrow it good be an intensive day!

This day we went to Sondrio.Sondrio has aproximatelly 20000 habitants. At eigth o'clock we we catched the train to them. At ten past nine we have arrived. We visit his historical centre for the morning, specially the bridge, we haved time to lunch, and at two o'clock we visit the Palazzo Sassi and the Museum of History and art of the Vatellina.

At twenty-two past four we catched the train to Tirano and we arrived at ten to five. The rest of the day was free with the host families.

Sunday 07.02.10 (SUNDAY FREE WITH FAMILIES)

In sunday 6th of february of 2010, I getted up so later than the other days. Only I getted up I go to lunch, but I don't had much hungry.
Inmediately we finished to lunch we went to visit some places in Swiss. And I also visit a lake. I learned in Swiss, there are two churchs for a town, one catholic and one protestant.
I also learned in Swiss the money is the franc, and the franc is aproximatelly 0,60 cents of euro.
We returned to our house, in Tirano, and we went to play football in a snowed and small place. We were playing many time, 3 or 4 hours.
When we returned I haved a shower and I saw the results of the italian league of football.
I have dinner and I went to sleep.

And finally we go back home, and we went to bed at 9.

On Sunday, Ari, Patt, Didac and our partners went to visit the city of St. Moriz, a city with a lot of money, sportive cars and very expensive brand shops.

We were to -8 degrees, so in a lake in the city there were horses races.

We saw snow everywhere, people skiing in the street, very nice houses, and a lot of money on every corner.

It was a great day!!!

On sunday we slept. In the afternoon we went to Livigno with Andrea. Livingo had a very beautiful ice statues. In Livigno we went shopping later had lunch.

The return trip was shorter. Then, we went to eat at home of Andrea and her mother made us spaghetti. The spaghetti was very good!

I went to St.Moriz with Arianda, Pat and Sergi; It was a very beautifull city. There was a lot of shops, and a lot of expensive: one rolex(clock) costs: 14.000€!!! After shopping we went to visited the biggest houses in the city. It was a city in the midel of the alps, and there was a lot of snow!!!

I enjoyed a lot.

On Sunday, I staied at the town. In the afternoon me and my partner sleep all the morning, because in the night we went to a disco. We had lunch with the family and in the afternoon I go out and see the town. Maria, cames, and we pased all the afternoon together. We went to a bar and we spoke with the italian. It was a "light" day, but it was fantastic!

  On sunday I went to Livigno with my partner Giulia and her family!

Livigno is a place of the dreams for me!

In this town there are a lot of shops of differents brands. For exemple: guess, gucci, dolce & gabbana...

Cost the best weekend of my life!

Monday 08.02.10 (VISIT TO BORMIO)

On this day we visited the city of Bornio, a very beautiful city of thirty minutes to Tirano, We went there for ice skating.
In the afternoon we went to visit the city.
But I lost consiusnes!!!

On Monday we went in Bormio. The departure was by train at 8:00. In the morning we spent all the time in the ice-skating. It was very emotional although there was some people who couldn't skate.

We had lunch in a hotel-management school in Bormio and the we did a walk arround the city. Via Roma, Chiesa di San Vitale and Palazzo de Simione were some of the landmarks that we enjoyed the most.

At night we went a birthday party in the bar of Grosio. All italian students and the catalans.

It was a very good party, we made a cake, and we bought a handbag and a very beautiful necklace.

We atte cake, drank (no alcohol) and we danced a lot!!

On monday we got up early liked all the days, at 7:00. We the took the bus and we went to Bornio. When we arrived we went to a café. After this we went to ice-skating.

In the ice there were some little accidents; the most "dangerous" was: Didac lost consciousness; all people fall.

When we finished to skating we went to visit the city. Then we had got free time and after this we went home.

In monday we went to Bormio. We catched the bus at eigth o'clock and we arrived to Bormio approximatelly at nine o'clock. We went to a bar and we haved a drink and then we went to the club of iceskating in Bormio.
There were many accidents: Didac was fainting and fells off, Ariadna did a bad movement and his knee swelled... Many people has falled over. Some people finished early to skate and they went to have a coffee or a juice and others prefered skating all the time.

Then we had lunch at the scool-management in the same tow. The food was good but there was a small quantity. After that we went to visit the city: the old streets, some squares, a church...

We also saw ( in distance ) the tracks of skiing and snowboarding.

Then we have a bit of pipi-time and we returned to the bus-station, and from there, we went to Tirano another time.

This day was teh birthay of Erea.

At the afternoon sergi, didac, nicholas and I go to buy a present for she because in the night we celebreated a surprise party for she.

We had a problem. On Monday the Italian shops close and just only one was opened.

We bought a bag and a collar.

At night the students met in the central bar in Grosio. After Erea arrived, Marta and Andrea and their partners came and brought a big birhtday's cake. Erea was surprised! Then the catalan students gave the presents for her and she was very happy.

My party was fantastic! It was an incredible sorpise. My partner and I arrived at the bar and we entered. I didn't know anything, but later, Marta, Andrea and their partners came with a big birthay cake. All the students sing the Happy birthay song and I was very happy. The catalan students gave me the presents and we started to spoke all the students!

It was the best night!:)

Tuesday 09.02.10 (VISIT TO VERONA)

We got up at five o'clock, we had breakfast, we catched the bus in Grosio and we went to Verona. When we arrived in Verona, we visited the Arena and then we saw the house of julieta, her tomb, etc.

Later we when to had lunch at one o'clock, we ate pizza and then we catched the bus and we went to saw the lake, a big lake.

On Thuesday we went to Verona.

When we arrived, we went to visited the anfiteatre and it was fantastic! This it was very big.

Then we went to saw Romeo and Juliete house.

We saw the balconary and all the peapers of the people that are in love on the walls of the door. I liked a lot.

Later we had free time and we went shopping and had lunch.

First we went to bought subenirs from Italia and then we went to a restaurant to had lunch.We ate pizza. When we saw the ticket of the price, we were suprised because it was so expensive.

On Tuesday we went to Verona, the city originated in prehistoric times probably near the present Ponte Pietra, or Stone Bridge, where there was a ford over de river.

In the city of Verona we saw some monuments, for exemple: Piazza Bra, The Arena (Anphitheatre), the Ponte Scaligero, Castelvecchio, the Palazzo Della Prefettura, Loggia del Consiglio, Domus Nova, Arcge Scaligere, Juliet's house, Romeo's House, The Duomo, Ponte della Pietra, The Roman theatre, tomba di giulietta...

Later we had a free time for went to the shopping and went had lunch.

Before we went to the other country, Sirmione where saw Como lake.

Then we went to have dinner and we returned in Tirano.

Tuesday we went to Verona. We went to the anfiteatro (his name is Arena) and later saw the house of Julieta, her tomb, etc.

Then we went to have lunch in a restaurant.

Later we went to saw a castle and the lake.

Finally we went to have dinner and we went home.

Wednesday 10.02.10 (EVALUATION OF THE EXCHANGE)

In Wednesday morning we went to the school of Tirano and went at the aula autoapprendimento for evaluate our exchange, as it was the last day that we spent togheter. First, we collect the pictures that we have done in those days and then we constructed our blog and commented the blog of our italian friends. When we finished this activity the italians students prepared the special farewell lunch in the " aula giovani  ".

In the afternoon we had visit the teleheating plant in Tirano and the biogas production plant in Stazzona. It was very interesting to visit those plants as we are in a project wich is about the energy.

 The last day we went to the school of Tirano, went at the room autoapprendimento for to make a blog.

At lunch time, the italans we had prepared a snack, pizza, cheese cake, and much more.

And that was the last night we were all Italian and Catalan, in a pub bar, where we play darts, and explain our history of these cool days.

And we took a photo of all de comenius students, with the new t-shirts of comenius project 2010

Thursday 11.02.2010 (RETURN TO CATALONIA)

This day was the last day of exchange. We went to the high schoolat eigth o'clock, and at ten to nine we went to the train station. At ten past nine we catched a train to Bergamo, but we need to did transbort. Finally, at quarter to twelve we arrived at the station of Bergamo.

Here, we catched a bus to the airport of bergamo (it was a short travel, 5 minutes). We arrived at the airport, we factured the big bags, and we haved some free time to have lunch. Later we catched the plane, with Ryanair, and we arrived at the airport of Saragossa, a smaller airport, with no much people and planes. Immediately we catced the bus to Les Borges and we arrived at set o'clock, more less.

It was a beatiful exchange
