Friday 05.02.10 (VISIT TO TIRANO)

On Friday we had lunch at the school, we ate pizzas.
Everyone ate so fast because we were hungry.
The pizzas were excelent and everyone liked a lot.
The lunch it was fantastic and we laughed a lot.
After the lunch, the boys played pim-pom and the girls were on a table talking about their things.

On Friday we went to Tirano, and we saw all monument and some important places, the church, etc. When I finished the visit of Tirano we return at the school and we had lunch. Obviously pizza.
After the lunch we play ping-pong and minifootball in the area giovani. Later we went to vist the santuari of Tirano, very big, but i didn't like it because there had a lot of ornaments.
Then, we went home and had dinner. After dinner we go out to play with the snow.

We met at the high school at eight o'clock on Friday morning. Firstly we went all the students to the auditorium and we were welcome by the headmaster. After we started the visit in Tirano. First we went to the centre of the town: Viale Italia, la statzione, Monumento ai Caduti, Palazzo Quadrio, Porta Poschiavina, Palazzo Salis, Porta Bormina, Porta Milanese...
It was a tired and cold morning.

Friday was the first day that we spent togheter. We were very exited to met our new italian friends. We explained to our classmates how it was the first night in the italian house and we were a little surprised for theis meals, their types of lives...

We enjoyed a lot the walk arround Tirano as it was the first town.
We had lunch at school, a very delicious pizza and finish it we went to visit Madonna Di Tirana, a very nice place in my opinion.

Friday afternoon we went to see a shrine of the Madonna, the walls it was very well worked and finished with determination. There was also a very large organ, and where the virgin appeared hearts was surrounded by people he had met the miracles when he was asked accompanied with many photos there were many candles lit, was very pretty, at the end the path each took his item exchange.

On friday night the the catalan and italian students we went to a pub in tirano. We met at the bus stop at 8:30 and we go to the pub. Here everyone had a good time. We drank a litlle bit and dance all the time.
We though the bus came back home at 10:20 but it was wrong! The bus came back at home at 10:10 and we loose the bus and the italians had to phone her parents.

On Friday 5 of February we meeting in the auditorium.
Later we visitted some monuments of the city of Tirano: Viale Italia, la Stazione, la Piazza Marinoni, Monumento ai caduti, Monumento algli emigranti, Palazzo Quadrio, Piazza Parravicini, Porta Poshiavina, Collegiata di San Martino, Palazzo Marinoni, Palazzo Merizzi, Palazzo Salis, Palazzo Visconti Venosta, le case patrizie, Porta Bormina, vista dei vigneti, Palazzo Torelli, Torre Torelli, Castello del Dosso and Porta Milanese.
Later we went to school for had lunch.
Then we visitted the sanctuary of Madonna di Tirano.
And finally we went home.

On Friday afternoon when we finished the high school, Marta, me and our partners we went shopping in Tirano on the shopping centre.When we finished we went to a caffe and we stay with the friends of our partners. We loughed a lot and it was so funny.

At eight o'clock we go to the school and the teachers of tirano have a presentation of her region, and bring information of the zone to the catalan students. A continuation we have breakfast in a shop of pastisserie. Then all the students, catalans and italians, visit Tirano. The italian teacher tell to the students, in tirano there are four portalades, we visit 2. Then also we go
"to the mountains" up, and we have a good saw of the city, and we saw the monument of the immigrant. Per cert, Tirano, has aproximately, 10000 habitants.
The we went to the institue and we ate pizza, and the we played to the futbolin and ping-pong, but the raquests were ato the apurades.
We also visited the church, Tirano had many churches, but we visit the bigger and the beautifulest.
The afternoon was free with the families
